 We're seeking a skilled Production Worker to join our client in the West end of Ottawa 


What We Offer: 

  • Salary:  19.47

  • Job Type/Shift: Full time day shifts

  • Benefits: After 300 hours

What You'll Do: 

  • Operate production equipment
  • Unitize loads at end of machine 
  • Create tags (Amtech) and apply to loads 
  • Strip scrap from boxes and foam sheets / use band saw 
  • Bale scrap / Keep a clean safe working area 
  • Palletize / Unitize product / Counting inventory 
  • Complete Quality Reports and other required documentation 
  • Foam department – Operate production equipment 
  • Assist operators on machines 
  • Work individually or in assembly team 
  • Manipulate products 
  • Perform all other tasks as assigned by Supervisors 

What We're Looking For: 

  • Permanent Resident or Citizen in Canada

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or production 

  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products. 

  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects if necessary. 

  • Capacity to read and understand drawings and specifications

  • Proficiency with taking exact measurements with both metric and imperial systems
