Maintenance Mechanic – Inkerman, NB

They are currently looking for Permanent Maintenance Mechanic, to work in Inkerman, NB.
As the Maintenance Mechanic you are responsible for the repair, maintenance, modification, and construction of various pieces of company equipment and machinery. In your responsibilities as a Maintenance Mechanic, you must ensure that the machinery is operated safely.
What we offer
- Class A-D: $22.39-$26.24, Red Seal: $1.50/hr extra, Night shift: $0.50/hr premium
- 8-hour rotational shifts
- Rotational Shifts: 7am – 3pm, 3pm – 11pm, and 11pm to 7am

What you do
- In charge of:
- Repairing of Company equipment and machinery
- Preventive maintenance on Company equipment and machinery
- Modification of Company equipment and machinery
- The construction of different pieces of Company equipment and machinery
- Effectively perform all duties to operate Company equipment in a safe manner and in accordance with the manufacturer's and company's requirements
- Ensure all work complies with the safety standards
- Make sure that permanent and complete repairs are made to avoid repetitive stops
- Meet the standards that are established for every task
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management
Who you are
- Must be bi-lingual in French and English
- Must have training in welding, maintenance, repair or manufacturing or several years’ experience in a similar role
- Ability to work independently
- Must be reliable
- Must be comfortable doing shift work
