The Role: Corporate Legal Counsel
In this role, you will spend most of your time advising business leaders on commercial and operational legal matters, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, supporting compliance and governance initiatives, and managing legal risk. You will work closely with senior leadership, operational stakeholders, procurement teams, and external counsel while helping the organization achieve strategic objectives across Canada and the United States. This role balances hands-on legal work with business partnership responsibilities, providing clarity on expectations from day one.

What You'll Bring
Required:
- Member in good standing of a Canadian Law Society
- LL.B., J.D., or equivalent legal degree
- Bilingual English and French communication skills
- 6-10 years of post-qualification experience
- Strong corporate and commercial law experience
- Ability to provide practical legal advice to stakeholders across multiple business functions
Assets:
- Manufacturing, industrial technology, HVAC, or energy industry experience
- Experience supporting Canadian and U.S. legal matters
- Admission to a U.S. state bar
