Our client is looking for their next Shop and Field Mechanic in the Moncton area. They are a well‑established manufacturing organization with more than 45 years of industry experience and a workforce of approximately 250 employees. They are the only company in Canada specializing in the production of aerial devices, with products distributed extensively across both Canada and the United States.

What You Do
- Diagnose and repair equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and limited pneumatic systems
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to support accurate troubleshooting and repair
- Adjust, calibrate, and maintain equipment both in the shop and on customer sites
- Perform warranty repairs, component replacements, and routine maintenance on customer units
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards
- Travel to client locations across the region to complete service work
- Communicate professionally with customers, representing the organization with confidence and technical credibility
- Manage your own schedule and support the growth of the service department and customer base
Who You Are
- A Millwright/Red Seal or trained heavy vehicle mechanic, electromechanical technician, or equivalent
- Skilled in hydraulic systems; experience with aerial devices is a strong asset
- Bilingual in English and French (asset)
- Equipped with strong interpersonal skills and able to represent the company professionally in the field
- Confident working independently, interacting with customers, and managing a dynamic workload
- In possession of a clean Class 5 driver’s abstract
- Owner of personal tools and a toolbox (asset)
- Comfortable with a role that requires regular regional travel and occasional overnight assignments
