We're seeking a skilled Refrigeration and Heating Technician to join our client's team in Moncton, NB

  • Job Type/Shift:  Full-time, Permanent, Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm (must be okay with being on-call outside office hours)

What You'll Do
  • Install, assemble, and test refrigeration and heating systems according to blueprints, specifications, and local building codes
  • Ensure proper placement and connection of components including compressors, evaporators, condensers, heat pumps, furnaces, boilers, and related piping
  • Perform routine maintenance checks, diagnose, troubleshoot, repairing, replacing defective components, and conducting regular inspections
  • Upgrade outdated or inefficient refrigeration and heating systems to improve performance and energy efficiency
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, as well as educating clients or end-users on proper operation and maintenance practices
  • Generate reports detailing work performed, parts used, and recommendations for future action
 
What We're Looking For 
  • Red Seal certification as a HVAC Technician (also open to people with their Block 2 or 3)
  • Valid G1 or G2 Gas Technician License would be a huge asset
  • Clean criminal background is required
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required
  • Demonstrated experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration and heating systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in various settings and conditions
 
Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to undergo additional training or certifications as required
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed
  • Willingness to be on an on-call rotation schedule
  • Commitment to staying updated on industry advancements and best practices
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and ethical standards
