Our client in Orillia Area is looking for General Labour – Forklift Operator to showcase your fantastic merchandising skills.
What we offer:
- Location – Orillia, Ontario L3V 7Z4
Dates: February 2, 2026– April 17, 2026 (Monday – Friday), Hours: 6 AM to 2:30 PM (full shift with half hour lunch) – Day Shift - Pay: $28/hour + 4% vacation pay We Deduct CPP, EI and Income Tax. You will be paid each Friday for the previous week’s work
What you’ll do:
As a Forklift Operator- Material Handler you will be responsible for managing the movement of materials within our facility, ensuring that products are handled safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment.
- Operate a Propane and Electric Counterbalance Forklift (5,000lbs) according to instructions provided
- Ensure safety measures are always followed while operating both manual and mechanical functions
- Maintain the production and warehouse areas ensuring a clean, safe and organized environment free of clutter
- Other duties as requested and required
- Assist the team of installers stocking, assembling and disassembling store fixtures, to help with general housekeeping duties and other support duties as required in a retail store
What we’re looking for:
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to pay high attention to details
- Must have CSA approved steel toed safety shoes, Gloves and a Safety Vest
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
