We are currently recruiting reliable General Labourers to support a short-term packaging project for a leading food manufacturing facility. This assignment involves packing and stacking cases of product onto skids in a clean, team-oriented environment. The project will run continuously for 48 hours beginning at 7:00 AM on July 8, 2026, requiring staffing coverage at all times.
What You'll Do
- Pack cases of granola bars into designated containers
- Build and stack skids according to specifications
- Perform repetitive lifting, carrying, and palletizing tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures
- Work as part of a team to ensure continuous production coverage
What You'll Bring
- Ability to perform repetitive physical work throughout a shift
- Reliable transportation and ability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts
- Ability to work either 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, including days, afternoons, and overnight assignments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- CSA-approved safety footwear required
Important Requirements
- Must avoid peanuts and peanut products for 24 hours prior to the assignment
- Must successfully complete a mandatory pre-employment quiz
- Candidates will receive study materials in advance and will be required to write the quiz at the Drake Cornwall office
- Candidates with older criminal backgrounds (5+ years) may be considered, provided there is no history of violence or aggression
