AZ Driver – Northern Ontario Routes (Beer Deliveries)
As an AZ Driver, you’ll be working Monday to Friday with early morning starts between 4:00–6:00 AM, based out of Ayr, ON. This is not long-haul work; all trucks are day cabs, and sleep accommodation is provided by the company (drivers do not sleep in the truck).
You will be , delivering product and picking up returns and beer empties. This role is best suited for an experienced driver comfortable with Northern Ontario routes and winter driving conditions.
What we offer:
- Monday–Friday work schedule
- Early morning start times (4–6 AM)
- Hourly pay of $24/hr, increasing to $25/hr after 3 months upon meeting performance expectations on both routes
- Layover allowance of $50/day (meals not reimbursed separately)
- Company-paid roadside hotel accommodations for all layovers
- Well-maintained manual 13-speed day cab trucks
- No hand bombing
What you do:
- Operate a manual transmission (13-speed) AZ truck
- Complete designated routes to Thunder Bay (4 days away with layovers) and Sudbury / Sault Ste. Marie (1-day layover)
- Deliver beer products to Beer Store locations and pick up returns and empties
- Use an ELD system and update deliveries through a mobile app throughout the day
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any defects
- Comply with all Hours of Service and MTO regulations
- Drive safely and professionally in all weather conditions, including winter conditions
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid AZ License with no restrictions
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience driving manual transmission trucks
- Clean CVOR and Driver Abstract
- Zero (0) demerit points
- Minimum 26 years of age (insurance requirement)
