Join our client as a Sanitation Worker and play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of their manufacturing facility!
What We Offer:
- Salary: $22.52/hr plus 4% vacation pay and 1.00 shift premium for night shift
- Working hours: Full-time Monday to Friday 1030pm-7am
What You'll Do:
- Dismantling, sanitizing, and setup of equipment
- Some lifting involved
- Keen eye for cleanliness and safe use of chemicals
- Ensure safety requirements (PPE, WHMIS, lockout/tag out, chemical mixing)
- Comply with food processing regulations
- Knowledgeable in sanitation procedures (equipment cleanup/setup, building services)
- Willingness to work all shifts, including weekends
- Dedicated team player with attention to detail and mechanical ability
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in food manufacturing is an asset
- High School Certificate or equivalent preferred; one year of experience in the food industry/manufacturing is an asset
- Ability to safely lift 30-50 lbs. repeatedly while bending and twisting
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekdays and weekends
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work within a team and independently
- Excellent work ethic and commitment to safety and quality
