Our client, located in Lyn and Brockville are a leading and well-known provider in the manufacturing and transportation industry looking for an experienced Order Picker/Warehouse Worker to join their team.
What We Offer:
- Hourly Salary: $22.52 hourly plus $1.00 per hour afternoon/weekend shift premiums
- Job Type: temp-perm contract, full-time
- Shift: Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday day, afternoon and evening shifts with opportunity for overtime
- Flexibility to work full time, overtime and all shifts is required to be successful in this role
What You'll Do:
- Working in the Freezer/Cooler, you will operate and electric walkie, in a safety-sensitive environment
- Load, unload, prepare, pick, receive, ship, and cycle count inventory
- Use SAP and Warehouse Management Systems
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and efficient
- Working well with others, you will support your team and flex across roles when needed
What We're Looking For:
- 1-2 years previous order picking and warehouse experience (required)
- 1-2 years previous forklift experience (required)
- Clear criminal record (required)
- Previous experience using hand-held devices such as SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (required)
- Ability to work or previous experience working in cold environments (required)
- Physically able to lift to 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day, this job is physical and requires walking, bending, stretching lifting
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and team-focused working well with others
