Drake International is currently recruiting and building a candidate pool for upcoming Production Associate opportunities with a client in the food and beverage manufacturing industry located in Barrie.
What we offer:
- Location: Barrie L4N 6L2
- Pay Rate: $20 – $22 per hour plus 4% vacation pay based on experience and qualifications.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day shifts generally fall between 6:00 AM and 3:30 PM, depending on operational requirements
- This is a temporary to Permanent opportunity
What you’ll do:
- Applying labels (stickering)
- Rinsing containers
- Packing finished products into boxes and placing them on skids
- Supporting general production activities while maintaining quality standards
- Performing other production and warehouse duties assigned by the supervisor
- Assemble packaging by folding and taping boxes, labeling products, and preparing shipments
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in GMP food production facility
- Ability to perform repetitive physical work, including lifting up to 35–40 lbs as required
- Previous forklift experience (Toyota, Crown Reach, or Electric Walkie) is
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- CSA-approved safety footwear required
- Must be able to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Must pass a criminal background check.
