We are currently recruiting for a Shipping Clerk to join our client’s team.
This role is situated in St. Isadore, Ontario and therefore transportation to the from the site is must. Please note this is a 3–5-month contract.
What we Offer:
- $21.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm
- 3–5-month contract
What you will be doing:
- Provide customer service to the truck drivers:
- Inform truck drivers about the site location
- Greet truck drivers and provide them necessary information about the shipment
- Ensure truck drivers have all required documents related to their shipments
- Explain company policies to truck drivers
- Prepare shipping related documents
- Enter data about the shipment in the system
- Fill in, print and distribute shipping documents
- Maintain trucking logs
- Classify documents related to shipping activities
- Complete shipping related reports
- Ensure the availability of all necessary documents for the shipping activities
- Communicate with the customer service team in the coordination of activities
- Monitor the progress of the activities in coordination with customer service
- Contact customer service to get authorization for order changes
What you will need:
- Experience working in an office environment – preferrable Logistics and transportation
- Experience in computer word processing programs
- Experience in spreadsheet programs
- Experience with Order forms, statements, other types of forms and labels
- Strong Customer service
