Drake International is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Receiver to join our client's distribution centre in Dartmouth, NS. This is a temporary contract opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent position. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and teamwork.
What You'll Do:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Verify incoming products against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Accurately label, sort, and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Assist with inventory control and maintaining accurate records.
- Operate warehouse equipment as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience is an asset.
- Reach truck and electric walkie experience are assets but not required.
- Must have safety/steel toe boots.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Comfortable with consistent lifting and physical warehouse duties.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
