Job Title: Material Handler / Walkie Operator
Location: Dartmouth, NS
Work Type: Contract / Temp
Salary: $18.75/hr + Evening Premium
What you'll do
- Order Picking & Packing: Accurately pick various veterinary supplies and medications to fulfill branch and clinic orders. Pack and label these products to ensure they arrive securely and undamaged.
- Shipping & Receiving: Process incoming shipments of medical supplies. Inspect goods for quality and damages, and stage outgoing deliveries for drivers.
- Inventory Management: Store products in appropriate warehouse areas. Track stock levels using the company's warehouse management or ERP system, and assist with regular cycle counts to prevent shortages.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or dollies, to transport and stage goods within the facility.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse, ensuring hazardous materials or pharmaceuticals are handled according to safety and quality guidelines
