We're seeking a multiple Recycling Sorters to join our client's team in at the new state of the art recycling sortation facility North of Napanee (Ontario). This is a pioneering site featuring the latest technology in material sortation and re-use and offers great opportunities to join a growing dedicated team. Be part of the recycling revolution.
 
What We Offer:
  • Salary: $20 per hours for days shift, $21 per hour for lates
  • Job Type: These are Full time, on-going temporary shifts with strong potential for conversion to Perm
  • Shifts: Days – 6am to 2.30pm and lates – 2.30pm to 10.30pm Monday to Friday.
  • Benefits: Full training provided, climate controlled working environment, potential for perm conversion.
 
What You'll Do:
  • Sort and segregate incoming recycling materials manually or using sorting equipment.
  • Identify and separate recyclable materials such as paper, plastics, metals, and glass.
  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of non-recyclable or hazardous waste.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet sorting targets and quality standards.
 
What We're Looking For:
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects as needed.
  • Basic understanding of recycling practices and waste management procedures.
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
