We're seeking a dynamic Site Superintendent to join our client's construction team in Winnipeg.
As a Site Superintendent, you'll play an important role in leading on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Your leadership will drive collaboration among trades, maintain quality standards, and uphold the reputation of a trusted Manitoba contractor.

What We Offer:
  • Salary: $110,000 – $120,000
  • Job Type/Shift: Full-time, Permanent

What You'll Do:
  • Review drawings and contracts to identify issues early and prepare schedules with input from trades.
  • Manage permits, materials, and labor requirements for smooth project execution.
  • Oversee daily construction activities, coordinate trades, monitor progress and quality, and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Enforce safety standards, lead orientations, distribute PPE, and address safety questions and non-compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records using construction software, manage purchase orders and invoices, and ensure costs align with estimates.
  • Handle change orders with proper documentation and coordination, and support client handover by organizing move-in and orientation.

What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum of five years’ experience as a construction supervisor or superintendent in institutional and commercial projects.
  • Strong ability to interpret and coordinate blueprints and shop drawings into actionable site plans.
  • Knowledge of construction techniques, contract interpretation, and safety regulations.
  • Effective supervision and scheduling skills to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
  • Good understanding of local building code requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior experience as a skilled tradesperson and post-secondary education in construction management.
  • Familiarity with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Red Seal Carpenter designation is an asset.
