Housekeeper

We’re looking for a dependable Housekeeper who enjoys creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for steady daytime hours in a supportive team environment.

What We Offer: 

• Salary: $17/hour ( up to $18/hour after 3 months) + 4% vacation pay

• Full Time Day Shifts, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 3:00/4:00 p.m 

• Ongoing temporary contract (minimum 1 month, with potential through the summer)

• Transportation provided for non-downtown locations; parking and mileage reimbursed if using your own vehicle

• Weekly pay

What You'll Do: 

• Clean and prepare furnished suites, including light refreshes for existing guests and full turnover cleans for new arrivals.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks such as kitchens (fridges, stoves), bathrooms, and laundry.

• Load delivery trucks safely and ensure products are secured for transport.

• Restock and manage cleaning supplies, following hygiene and safety standards.

• Pick up supplies in the morning and work independently across multiple downtown Halifax locations (approximately 8 buildings).

• Maintain clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces for guests at all times.

What We're Looking For: 

• Previous cleaning experience is an asset (home cleaning, Airbnb, deep cleaning, industrial or warehouse cleaning), but we’re open to training the right person.

• Reliable, trustworthy, and comfortable working independently

• Ability to perform the physical duties of the role, including standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion

• Clean criminal background.
