We’re hiring a Dock Worker to join our client’s team in the St. John’s area. This role is well‑suited for someone who enjoys active, hands‑on work and can perform in a fast‑paced warehouse environment. It’s a solid opportunity to build your experience and contribute to a reliable, high‑performing operation.
What We Offer:
- $20.00 per hour + 4% vacation pay
- Shifts Available: Sun – Tue & Thu – Fri; – 4pm – 12am
- Ongoing assignment

WHMIS training and certification relevant to the role
What You'll Do:
- Moving and handling large and cumbersome freight in a dock environment (50–75 lbs)
- Operating a forklift in congested areas
- Ensuring compliance with TDG, WHMIS, company policies/procedures, and customer‑specific requirements
- Utilizing proper handling techniques to protect customer freight from damage
- Accurately and efficiently receiving and shipping all inbound and outbound freight daily, in accordance with company procedures
- Organizing and directing inbound and outbound freight to city and line‑haul trailers
- Assisting with administrative duties related to shipments
- Performing other related duties as required
What We're Looking For:
- Must have forklift experience
- Minimum secondary education; post‑secondary education preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs if needed
- Knowledge of various handling equipment is an asset
- Clean criminal background
