Material Handler – Warehouse

Location: Perth, Ontario(On‑site)

Salary: $20 hourly plus 4% vacation pay

This Material Handler role is ideal for a professional who enjoys warehouse work, loading and unloading inventory, and working within a professional, team-oriented warehouse. The right person will recognize this role as a natural next step based on their current experience material handling working in a warehouse or retail setting and their career stage. 

Why This Role 

This role offers full-time hours on the day shift working Monday-Friday from 7am-330pm daily, exposure to a well-established business, and the chance to develop warehouse skills material handling in the returns and shipping/receiving department. Unlike similar roles, this position focuses on attention to detail, reliability, work ethic and fit within a team. 

The Role: Material Handler

In this role, you will spend most of your time working with freight. You will work closely with your team and supervisor and be responsible for inventory delivering outcomes related to the needs of the business. This role balances experience with training, providing clarity on expectations from day one. 

What You’ll Bring 

• 1-2 years experience in material handling/returns/warehouse/retail environments

• Clear criminal record with the ability to take and pass criminal record background check

• Ability to perform heavy lifting handling freight repeatedly throughout the day lifting up to 50lbs which will involve standing, bending, walking, lifting for extended periods of time

• You take your role seriously having an upbeat personality with a professional, can-do attitude and helpful approach to working within your team

• You understand you are an integral part of the team therefore reliability, punctuality and performance is important to you
