Job Title: Administrative Coordinator
Location: Fredericton, NB, On-site
Work Type: 1 Ongoing Role & 1 2-Month Contract
Salary: $20 an hour

This Administrative Coordinator role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume transportation environment, solving operational and customer service challenges, and working within a logistics and freight coordination context. The right person will recognize this role as a natural next step if they have prior administrative or transportation experience and are comfortable managing multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
What You’ll Do
- Making telephone calls and sending emails to centralized customer service
- Booking delivery appointments via phone and email
- Billing of accessorial/additional fees as required
- Maintaining group email boxes and answering queue calls when required
- Receiving calls from drivers who are not delivering freight for specific reasons, logging and noting comments in pros
- Scanning, photocopying and faxing
- Other administrative duties as required (which could include pulling reports)
- Auditing shipping documents for accuracy, correcting and reporting to supervisor as needed
- Understanding Federal Transportation Compliance documentation and reacting to and reporting non-compliance
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in the same or similar role is required
- Clean criminal background is required
- Transportation or operational experience is preferred, various roles within transportation and customer service is beneficial
- Excellent computer skills (accuracy, MS products, Bringg, web-based programs such as TruckMate), and keyboarding skills
- Advanced communication skills
- Able to work deadlines in high transactional, fast paced environment
- Ability to work effectively as a team member, or individually as required
- Strong attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
- Must be fluent in English, other languages are an asset
Benefits & Environment
- Ongoing role: Monday – Friday; 10:30am – 7pm, 35 – 40 hours a week
- 2-month coverage: Monday – Friday; 8am – 5pm, 35 – 40 hours a week
