Join our client as a Sanitation Worker and play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of their manufacturing facility! You'll be responsible for deep cleaning machines, dismantling and cleaning packing lanes, washing tanks, and ensuring all food contact surfaces meet Canadian Food Inspection Agency and BRC standards.

What We Offer:
Salary: $22.52/hr
- 1.00 shift premium for night shift (10:30pm-7am)
- Working hours: Full-time NIGHT SHIFT Monday to Friday start and end times vary depending on planning.
What You'll Do:
- Dismantling, sanitizing, and setup of equipment
- Some lifting involved
- Keen eye for cleanliness and safe use of chemicals
- Ensure safety requirements (PPE, WHMIS, lockout/tag out, chemical mixing)
- Comply with food processing regulations
- Knowledgeable in sanitation procedures (equipment cleanup/setup, building services)
- Willingness to work all shifts, including weekends
- Dedicated team player with attention to detail and mechanical ability
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in food manufacturing is an asset
- High School Certificate or equivalent preferred; one year of experience in the food industry/manufacturing is an asset
- Ability to safely lift 30-50 lbs. repeatedly while bending and twisting
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekdays and weekends
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work within a team and independently
- Excellent work ethic and commitment to safety and quality
