Our client, located in Prescott, requires General Labour help in April for a short-term contract assisting with a plant shutdown, the job is approximately 20mins from Brockville, just past Prescott in Johnstown.
What We Offer:
- Pay rate: $20.00 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
- 1 day paid training, Drake International will pay for your certification to be a Confined Space Monitor – you can then add the new certification to your resume!
- Training is April 8, 9 ,10 – you pick!
- Training time is 8am – 4pm
- You work either day shift or night shift on April 13, 14, 15 – you pick!
- Shift option 1: 6am – 6pm
- Shift option 2: 6pm – 6am
What you are doing:
- Maintaining continuous, direct communication with entrants from outside the confined space
- Monitoring safety hazards
- Maintaining an accurate, real-time count of workers
- Controlling entry, and initiating emergency procedures if necessary as outlined in training
What you need:
- Reliability is a must! Your team is counting on you to show up!
- Ability to walk, stand and observe for extended periods
- Ability to read and write recording information on a sheet of paper with attention to detail
- Excellent work ethic and commitment to safety and quality
- CSA Approved Steel Toe Boots
