Our client in the Engineering Industry is currently looking for an Overhead Crane Technician on a permanent basis to join their growing team.
What we offer:
- Location: Ontario
- Reporting to: Location Manager
- Work Hours: Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM to 5 PM (overtime pay for any workday over 8 hours of work)
- Salary: $90000 to $100000– company truck – 3 weeks’ vacation – RRSP Program
- Permanent Full time, with benefits
What you'll do:
- Communicate regularly with customers to gather information related to technical issues
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical/air components used on cranes
- Perform preventative scheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure safe and proper working order of cranes
- Review technical inquiries of customers to recommend possible solutions related to the operation or maintenance
- Answer service calls
- Perform cold calling to attract new customers
- Being proactive & proposing good technical solution to increase customer equipment durability
- Reliability, productivity & safety
- Maintain Inventory
What we are looking for:
- Must have Electromechanical Engineering Technician program or equivalent degree
- License such as 442A, or 309A is a must
- Excellent mechanical and electrical skills
- At least 3 years of related work experience
- Driver license G
- Welding experience, an asset
