Drake International is looking for an experienced AZ Driver in Brockville for a local client performing 1 week of vacation coverage in May!
What We Offer:
- $25.00 per hour plus 4 % vacation pay
- Monday – Friday
- Day shift working 7am-4pm
- This is a temporary assignment providing the client with 1 week of vacation coverage, May 4th – 8th, 2026
What you are doing:
- Performing daily deliveries according to schedule provided by the client
- 95% driving dock to dock
- No hand bombing
- No excessive labour
- Conduct daily pre & post trips of vehicle
- Pick up, deliver and load/unload product
- Use of electronic logs
- Document all required information accurately and legibly
- Be punctual about scheduled appointments and dock times arriving on time with reliability
What you need:
- AZ Driver’s License with a minimum of 2 years’ previous driving experience
- CVOR & Abstract must be provided with zero infractions
- Previous shipping and receiving experience is ideal in a warehouse environment
- Physically fit with the ability to lift to 50lbs as required
- Hard-working strong individual with excellent customer service-oriented attitude
- Great attitude, reliability, professional appearance, good work ethic, safety oriented
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to respect the confidentiality of information and exercise tact and diplomacy.
- Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative team environment; positive customer service orientation.
- CSA approved safety boots and safety vest
