We're seeking a dynamic Production Manager to join our client's manufacturing team in Mississauga. As a Production Manager, you'll play an important role working with supply chain management to monitor projects, order raw materials and ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained. The Production Manager will act as a mentor/coach to the production team and others in the company. In addition, this position requires working with members of the warehouse team to ensure open communication and processes are followed.

  • Salary: $85000 – $950000 plus discretionary bonus

What You'll Do:
  • Work with all department heads and production team to continually improve sales/cost results and execute company strategies
  • Promote a clean, safe, and environmentally compliant production facility for employees and customers
  • Proper care and maintenance of all equipment, reporting equipment problems, and adhering to the preventative maintenance program
  • Participate in hiring, training, and delegating of duties and scheduling work hours
What We're Looking For:
  • 5 – 10+ years’ experience in printing production/manufacturing and supervision of staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of JIT, lean manufacturing, kaizen or TQM an asset
  • Ability to solve practical problems by applying analytical reasoning
