Drake International Tillsonburg is actively recruiting for Piper/Welders. Our client is looking for candidates who have MIG welding experience with strong attention to detail. You just need minimum of 1 year of welding experience.
These are Direct Hire positions.
What we offer:
- Shift: Dayshift – Mon-Fri.- 7 am – 3:30 pm (straight dayshift) – 3 openings
- Shifit: Afternoon shift – 3 pm – 11:30 pm (straight afternoons) – 2 openings
- $22.62/hr for dayshift
- Shift premium of $1.50/hr for afternoons = $24.12/hr
What you will be doing:
- Assembling piping and components for use.
- Assembling piping and components in the proper orientation and position.
- Utilizing Oxy-Acetylene torch to solder or braze pipe and component connections.
- Performing leak detection on pressurized systems using gauges or electronic equipment.
Who you are:
- Ability to use hand/power tools required to complete tasks.
- Previous soldering/braising experience is an asset.
- Ability to follow schedules and meet deadlines.
- Ability to read a measuring tape and strong math skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs if necessary.
- Ability to climb a ladder if necessary.
- Have reliable transportation.
