The Role: Assistant Branch Manager
- Assist the Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations to ensure safe and reliable route execution, maintain coverage and staffing.
- Mitigate risk while addressing operational efficiency
- Help with hiring, onboarding coordination, and workforce planning in collaboration with Human Resources keeping pipeline of candidates steady.
- Coordinate with the Manager, Safety Risk & Performance Optimization regarding CVOR infractions, collision trends, reportable incidents, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Fleet Management to ensure vehicles remain compliant, maintained, and operationally ready.
- Liaise professionally with schools, school boards, and transportation consortium partners regarding service delivery and operational matters as well as responding to parents in a timely manner.
- Support branch budgeting, purchasing, and cost-control initiatives.
- Review operational reports and identify trends requiring management attention
What You’ll Bring

Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Transportation, Operations Management, or a related discipline preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of supervisory, leadership, or operational experience.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, customer service, or service delivery environments preferred.
• Knowledge of student transportation operations considered an asset.
