The Role: Warehouse Manager
In this role, you will spend most of your time leading day-to-day warehouse operations, supervising warehouse staff, managing shipping and receiving activities, monitoring inventory accuracy, coordinating inbound and outbound freight, and driving process improvements. You will work closely with Warehouse Supervisors, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Customer Service, Operations, vendors, and transportation partners and be responsible for delivering outcomes related to operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, employee performance, customer satisfaction, and cost-effective warehouse operations. This role balances hands-on operational leadership with strategic planning, team development, and continuous improvement initiatives, providing clear expectations from day one.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse, distribution, or third-party logistics (3PL) experience.
- At least 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse environment.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Proven ability to lead teams, improve warehouse performance, and drive operational excellence using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
