We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and results-driven Electronic Manufacturing Test Technician with a proven ability to work efficiently and with a continuous improvement approach. In this role you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary project team, focused on the electronic manufacturing products and processes.

What will you do:
-
Development, inspection, evaluation and testing of electronic circuits, sub-assemblies and transmitter systems.

Root cause analysis of complex issues.

Electronic product manufacturing and test support.
-
Process planning and improvement.
-
Electronic component selection, circuit analysis and modeling.
-
Reading and validating schematics, parts lists, design documentation, wire route sheets.

Setup and operation of specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, qualify and analyze performance of systems.

Preparation and validation of design, production and product documentation.
-
Technical support for other departments is required.
Qualifications and skills desired:
-
Electronic Technician/Technologist qualification.
-
Understanding of ESD causes and prevention.
-
Understanding of Federal and International electrical requirements would be an asset.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Strong documentation and computer skills.
-
Familiarity with ISO standards would be an asset.

Effective written and communication skills that will be used internally during design, in project meetings and while providing support and input to other teams.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team, and across different functions, as well as independently.

Experience testing and troubleshooting electronic product circuits and systems, including use of related test equipment.
The ability to immediately obtain, and maintain, Controlled Goods clearance (as outlined in Section 15 of Canada’s Controlled Goods Regulations) is a requirement of this role (Canadian Citizenship/Permanent Residency).
