We're seeking a Dock Worker/Forklift Operator to join our client in Edmonton, Acheson and Nisku
What We Offer:
- Salary: 23 CAD Per Hour
- Job Type/Shift: Full-time – Morning, Noon and Night Shift
What You'll Do:
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport materials between unloading, processing, loading, and storage areas.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, racks, and shelves.
- Ensure loads are secure and safely transported to designated areas.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of forklifts to ensure optimal operation.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, including packaging, labeling, and organizing materials.
What We're Looking For:
- Prior experience working as a Warehouse Associate or a Dock worker.
- A minimum of three years of experience as a Forklift operator.
- A valid forklift license and other safety tickets.
- Must have a reliable means of commuting.
- Experienced in handling items, including loading, selecting, collating, docking, and racking.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and machines such as RF Scanners.
- Ability to operate a Sit down counterbalance, Raymond Reach truck, Propane and electric forklift.
