Salary: $20-22 an hour, plus 4% vacation pay added to your rate

Our client is hiring for their next Counter Sales and Basic Administrative candidate to start work immediately in the Miramichi, NB area! This is a great company to join and there are many career opportunities for the right candidate.
What You'll Do
- Greet all customers (in person or over the phone) with a positive, engaging, and welcoming attitude
- Sell and support a diversified line of safety products via phone, fax, email and over the counter
- Delivering a high level of customer service and support upselling opportunities
- Operate the store point of sale system to search for products and customer accounts
- Assist with merchandising activities, maintaining standards of appearance, overall product presentation, inventory management, signage, etc.
- Follow all policies and standard operating procedures related to cash, credit, check, refund, and return policies.
- Adhere to inventory control programs, in-stock standards, and all operating procedures
- Other admin/counter sales related duties as required
What You’ll Bring
- A clean criminal record is required
- Bilingualism (French/English) would be a strong asset, but not essential for the right candidate
- Previous experience in the safety industry and/or in a retail environment is considered a strong asset
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail, combined with the ability to work in a team environment while giving the best in customer service is a top priority.
- The ideal candidate should be dependable, neat in appearance, and comfortable with computers
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and managing files and records and other office procedures at a proficient level
