Our client a respected family-owned Bus company is looking for a Branch Manager located in the London region. 
 
What we offer: 
  • Salary range: $90,000 – $97,000, commensurate with experience.
  • RRSP- Match after 3 months up to 3%

  • 3-4 weeks vacation depending on experience.

What you will do: 
  • Oversee daily branch operations to ensure safe and reliable route execution, maintain coverage and staffing.
  • Mitigate risk while addressing operational efficiency 
  • Lead hiring, onboarding coordination, and workforce planning in collaboration with Human Resources keeping pipeline of candidates steady.
  • Manage attendance, performance concerns, and workplace conduct matters using couching and implementing discipline when appropriate. 
  • Coordinate with the Manager, Safety Risk & Performance Optimization regarding CVOR infractions, collision trends, reportable incidents, and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Fleet Management to ensure vehicles remain compliant, maintained, and operationally ready.
  • Liaise professionally with schools, school boards, and transportation consortium partners regarding service delivery and operational matters as well as responding to parents in a timely manner. 
  • Review payroll , branch-level expenditures and maintain accurate reporting.  within approved parameters.
 
Who you are: 
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory or operational leadership experience
  • Experience managing large operational teams or hourly workforces
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, manufacturing, fleet operations, or similar operational environments
  • Strong decision-making, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong organizational and documentation capabilities. 
  • You are a leader not a manager, you use empathy and direction when speaking to management, subordinates, clients and parents. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational scheduling systems
