This Dock Worker role is ideal for a professional who enjoys fast-paced warehouse environments, solving inventory handling and freight movement challenges, and working as part of a collaborative distribution and logistics team. The right person will recognize this role as a natural next step if they have warehouse experience and enjoy physical, hands-on work. 

What You'll Do:
  • Sort, organize, load, unload, and store freight and inventory in the appropriate warehouse locations. 
  • Accurately pick products and prepare orders using order forms and shipment documentation. 
  • Verify package labels and shipment details to ensure accuracy and prevent errors. 
  • Inspect freight for damage and report discrepancies or concerns promptly. 
  • Safely handle products and materials weighing up to 50 lbs. 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. 
  • Use warehouse tools and equipment as required to support daily operations. 
  • Meet productivity targets while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and contribute to a safety-first culture. 
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure freight is processed efficiently and on schedule.
 
What You’ll Bring:
These are all requirements to be considered for the role.
  • Warehouse experience or related experience. 
  • CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots that cover the ankle.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced team environment. 
  • Clean criminal background.
  • Reliable transportation, as the client site is not accessible by public transit.

The shift schedule is Sunday at 3:00 PM, Monday at 5:00 PM, Tuesday at 4:30 PM, Wednesday at 4:30 PM, Thursday off, Friday at 5:00 PM, and Saturday off. Shift lengths are typically 6–8 hours and may vary based on operational needs.
