We’re seeking a Dock Assistant to join our client's team in Cornwall. Reporting to the on-site office the Dock Worker will play a key role in coordinating the daily management of incoming freight and offloading trucks with receivers. This opportunity offers flexible working days and hours and can be part-time or full-time, with start times varying throughout the day.

What We Offer: 
  • Salary:  $20/hr
  • Job Type/Shift: Schedule confirmed daily
 
What You'll Do: 
  • Load and unload trucks and containers at the loading dock. 
  • Use manual or mechanical equipment to move and stack freight. 
  • Check and count incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy. 
  • Ensure proper handling and placement of freight to prevent damage. 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loading dock area. 
 
What We're Looking For: 
  • Availability to work on a daily scheduling model.
  • Ability to adapt to constant priority changes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow verbal or written directions.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Sense of urgency and team player.
  • Experience within a warehouse environment is an asset.
