Drake International is hiring Certified and Experienced Reach Truck and Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift Operators for our client in the Ajax area.

What we offer:
- Location: Ajax ON L1Z 0K4
- Pay rate: $ 21/hr. depending on experience
- Shifts: Schedule: 5 days per week – 8 AM to 4 PM (ongoing assignment)
- Weekend availability is mandatory, please note that all schedules must include Saturday and Sunday.
- Start Date – ASAP on an ongoing basis.

What you’ll do:
As a Forklift Operator– Material Handler you will be responsible for managing the movement of materials within our facility, ensuring that products are handled safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment.
- Operate a Reach Truck and Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift Operation experience according to instructions provided.
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Move products and materials to designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Keep warehouse aisles, storage areas, and workspaces clean and organized.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and workplace regulations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years Reach Truck (Cat Reach, Hangcha Reach and Toyota) and Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift Operation material handling experience.
- Must have valid forklift certification.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must have experience in Loading of materials and merchandise onto the trailers.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Build pallets and prepare shipments for delivery.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Must have a clear Crim check.
