Job Title: General Labor – Manufacturing
Location: Scarborough, ON M1X 1C3
Work Type: Temporary to permanent
Salary/Pay: $20–$22 per hour
Vacancy: Immediate and Existing vacancy
What you’ll do:
- Load materials (plastics sheet/plastic board) onto a CNC router approximately every 30 minutes.
- Safely handle and position materials for processing.
- Assist with shipping, distribution, and general warehouse duties as required.
- Operate a propane-powered forklift to move materials, as needed – this is an asset.
- Always follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Any other tasks as necessary or designated
What you’ll bring:
- Previous forklift experience, specifically with a propane-powered forklift (asset)
- Experience in a warehouse, shipping, or distribution environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift and handle materials weighing approximately 20-50 lbs regularly.
- Assistance will be provided for heavier materials.
- Willingness to learn CNC router operations; training will be provided.
- Ability to work safely in a noisy industrial environment.
- Must be able to pass a Criminal Background check
