We're seeking a temp Information Technology Technician to join our client's ever-growing team in Lunenburg, NS! This is likely to be a 3-6 month contract.
You will be responsible for being the first point of contact for IT support.
What We Offer:
- $23 – $33/hour, based on experience (plus 4% vacation pay)
- Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Weekly pay, every Friday!
- Free WHMIS Training
What You’ll Do:
- Troubleshoot all hardware and software issues
- Repair or replace damaged hardware as needed
- Complete tests on soft/hardware
- Troubleshoot printers/scanners
- Maintain inventory
- Log repairs
- Utilize help desk system to complete/document tasks
- Install and configure while maintaining network security:
- Hardware and software components
- anti-virus software
- security systems
What We’re Looking For:
- Post Secondary Diploma/Degree in an Information Technology (IT) related field
- At least 1 year of related experience
- Current A+ Certification or equivalent exp
- Microsoft Office Suite certificate or equivalent exp
- Microsoft 10 and 11 certificate or equivalent exp
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Azure, Networking Fundamentals and/or M365 Cloud Services
- Team player, able to show initiative and work independently
- Strong interpersonal skills
