We are currently recruiting dependable and safety-conscious Certified Scissor Lift Operators for a short-term project – approximately 2 weeks, within a manufacturing facility in St-Isidore, Ontario. This assignment involves operating a scissor lift to affix labels to warehouse racking systems while following all site safety requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are comfortable working at heights and have current certification requirements.
What You'll Do
- Operate a scissor lift safely within a manufacturing warehouse environment
- Affix labels and signage to warehouse racking systems
- Follow site-specific health and safety procedures at all times
- Conduct pre-use inspections of equipment
- Work accurately and efficiently to project timelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Report any safety concerns, equipment issues, or workplace hazards immediately
- Adhere to company policies and client site requirements
- Perform additional project-related duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
- Valid Scissor Lift / MEWP Certification (required)
- Valid Working at Heights Certification (required)
- Previous experience operating a scissor lift in an industrial or warehouse setting
- Comfortable working at heights throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable and punctual with a strong safety mindset
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical work throughout the day
- CSA-approved safety footwear
- Reliable transportation to the worksite
