Job Description
We’re seeking an Equipment Coordinator for a major transportation client, with an immediate start in Edmonton!
What We Offer:
- $25/hour + 4% vacation pay added to your rate
- Shift – Thursday – Tuesday (8am – 4:30pm)
- Two months training – Monday – Friday (8am – 4:30pm)
- Weekly pay, every Friday!
- Immediate start
- Free WHMIS and TDG training
What You’ll Do:
Job Responsibilities
- Trailer status updating & accounting for all trailer in the terminal
- Setting up orders for Outbound loads of LTL loads & assigning & attaching trailers to orders
- Assisting City & Central dispatch with trailers for full loads & spots
- Pay sheets for Line haul drivers for border crossings & live loads & unloads
- Setup appointments for trailer load deliveries
- Assisting dispatch with manifesting & directing of drivers
- Setting up google live for trailer availability & incoming loads
- Clearing up available incoming orders
- Yard check and monitoring
- Other related duties may be required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in the same or similar role is required.
- Clean criminal background is required.
- Transportation or operational experience is preferred, various roles within transportation and customer service is beneficial.
- Less than truckload shipment experience
- Able to meet deadlines in a highly transactional, fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Must be fluent in English.
