Our client in the Engineering Industry is currently looking for an Overhead Crane Technician on a permanent basis to join their growing team.
What we offer:
- Location: Southern Ontario
- Reporting to: Location Manager
- Work Hours: Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM to 5 PM (overtime pay for any workday over 8 hours of work)
- Salary: $57, 314 to $103, 521– company truck – 3 weeks’ vacation – RRSP Program – Paid 407 ETR – Paid overtime over 40 hours
- Permanent Full time, with benefits
What you'll do:
- Communicate regularly with customers to gather information related to technical issues.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical/air components used on cranes.
- Perform preventative scheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure safe and proper working order of cranes.
- Review technical inquiries of customers to recommend possible solutions related to the operation or maintenance.
- Answer service calls.
- Perform cold calling to attract new customers.
- Being proactive & proposing good technical solution to increase customer equipment durability,
- Reliability, productivity & safety
- Maintain Inventor
What we are looking for:
- Electromechanical Engineering Technician program or equivalent degree.
- Electrical License such as 442A, Journeyman Electrician or Red seal.
- Excellent mechanical and electrical skills.
- At least 3 years of related work experience.
- Driver license G
- Welding experience, an asset
