Blending Operator
Location: Smiths Falls, Ontario (On-site)
Work Type: Full-Time Temp-to-Perm
Shift: Monday to Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Fridays off
Salary: $21.00 per hour
We are currently recruiting dependable and hardworking Blending Operator for a manufacturing operation in Winchester, Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, working in a fast-paced production environment, and being part of a collaborative team. Successful candidates will play a key role in supporting blending, packaging, and production processes while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards at all times.
What You'll Do
- Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials
- Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines
- Feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers
- Remove filled containers from conveyors
- Feed and unload processing machines
- Clean machines and immediate work areas
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and workplace standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Report to work prepared and on time each day
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
- Valid Fall Arrest certification is required
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Hand-eye coordination
- Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle heavy loads
- Physically capable of lifting up to 23 kg / 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable transportation to Winchester worksite
