Our client is currently searching for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join their team in Ottawa!
What we offer
- $23.50 an hour
- Weekly pay, every Friday!
- Monday to Friday, full time work
- Hours are 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Immediate Start
- 26 weeks
What you do
- Assists with all facets of order processing operations.
- Assisting the sales team with various requests throughout the day such as entering customer orders, providing customer order confirmations, updating quotations, inquiries into order status, validation of inventory levels and billing preparation.
- Ensures that orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner following procedures and policies.
- In collaboration with the team, this position participates in the management of operations with a view to continuous improvement.
- Customer support.
- Performs the required follow-ups with customers and the rest of the team to ensure that all requests such as sending quotes, shipping instructions and delivery status are as committed.
- Works closely with all departments of the company to ensure the fluidity of the process (production planning, reception/shipping, credit, purchases, etc.).
- Other related duties as agreed and assigned by your manager.
What you'll bring

Experience in customer service

College diploma (DEC) or certificate of studies in a relevant field

Intermediate level knowledge of Excel and other MS Office Suite applications

Experience in the manufacturing sector (knowledge of the cardboard packaging industry is an asset)

Proficient in English and French, both oral and written is an asset.
