We are currently seeking a temporary full time Class 1 Driver for the Fredericton, NB area.

 

What We Offer: 

  • Salary:  $23/hour plus 4% vacation pay

  • Job Type: Full time Temporary position 

  • Shift: 7am-7pm Monday – Friday

  • Weekly pay: Paid every Friday

 

What You'll Do: 

  • Drive tractor-trailers, including long-combination vehicles, while strictly adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. 

  • Perform daily commercial vehicle inspections with the completion of necessary safety checks and monitor the vehicle for any major/minor defects and report it to safety.  

  • Maintain accurate electronic or manual logbooks, bills of lading, and maintenance reports.

  • Coordinate with dispatchers and customers regarding pickup/delivery times, route changes, and any unforeseen delays.

  • Immediately report any vehicle defects, accidents, or injuries to management.

 

What We're Looking For: 

  • Minimum 1 year of driving experience of class 1 vehicles. 

  • Valid Class 1  License with clean CVOR and Abstract. 

  • Clean criminal background. 

  • Available to work overtime
