Our client is looking for a HR / Administrative Coordinator based in Saint John, New Brunswick office, to assist in various administrative and technical aspects of the coordinating and HR base resources.  The company executes Industrial Rescue and Safety services throughout New Brunswick. By joining the team, you'll be part of some of the largest Shut Down Projects in Saint John.

  • 8am – 4:30pm, Overtime offered periodically (40 – 60 hours a week)

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct on‑site check-ins, orientations, and safety training for new hires
  • Manage the full onboarding process, including paperwork, site orientation, and job information
  • Recruit, screen, and interview candidates
  • Coordinate job offers, acceptance, and pre-employment requirements
  • Ensure new hires arrive at job sites fully prepared and trained
  • Collect, verify, and submit employee hours for payroll
  • Maintain accurate employee files and compliance documentation
  • Provide on‑site support to ensure proper logging, reporting, and paperwork completion
  • Serve as a point of contact for new hires, offering guidance and support
  • Assist with general HR and administrative tasks as needed
Who You Are
  • Experience in HR, administration, and/or staffing
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • A strong communicator who enjoys working with people
  • Comfortable conducting on‑site visits and interacting with workers and clients
  • Knowledgeable about occupational health and safety (or willing to learn)
  • Equipped with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment
