Title: Class 1 Driver – Highway & Local Mixed runs – Calgary to BC
Everyone in Canada depends on Drivers with Class 1 Licenses to get the goods they need. We have an exciting full-time opportunity for Class 1 Drivers in the Calgary region. If you're experienced, safety-conscious, and ready for a new adventure, this role is perfect for you! Note: Our trucks are manual, not automatic, and there are no dashboard cameras. Rest assured, you'll have the freedom and control to navigate the roads with confidence.
What We Offer:
-Good Pay Rate Based on experience
-Additional local work is available to top up your hours.
-Shifts consist of a mix of day and night driving.
-Weekly pay to keep you on track financially.
-We also offer payment on incorporation for added flexibility.
What You Do:
-Run trips between Calgary and British Columbia (mostly Greater Vancouver Area) and other parts of BC delivering Dry Van products and some local work
-Drive long distances from Calgary to BC, taking in the breathtaking mountain scenery.
-Prioritize safety by conducting pre-trip inspections and necessary safety checks
-Comply with the Ministry of Transportation's Hours of Service regulations.
-Deliver exceptional customer service during product and goods transportation.
-Ensure accurate documentation by obtaining required signatures on the bill of lading and delivery paperwork.
Who You Are:
-Hold a valid Class 1 License,
-Possess a minimum of 2 years continuous Class 1 driving experience.
-Comfortable driving manual transmission trucks.
-Mountain driving experience is mandatory, to ensure confidence on challenging terrains.
-Maintain a clean Drivers Abstract and Criminal Background Check
