We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll/Billing and Administrative Support professional to join our team. 

What We Offer: 
  • Salary:  23- 25 CAD Per Hour
  • Job Type: Temporary Full time
  • Shift: AM Shift
What You'll Do: 
  • Calculate and track carrier hours accurately based on logs, schedules, and timekeeping systems.
  • Process weekly payroll for internal staff and contracted carriers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws.
  • Prepare and issue invoices for clients based on carrier hours, contractual rates, and service agreements.
  • Reconcile payroll and billing data to ensure consistency and accuracy across systems.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of hours worked, payroll summaries, and billing statements.
  • Generate and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
  • Respond to payroll and billing inquiries from employees, clients, and carriers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, document preparation, and correspondence.
What We're Looking For: 
  • Proven experience in payroll processing, billing, or administrative support (2+ years preferred).
  • Experience working in logistics, transportation, or carrier services.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including functions like VLOOKUP, SUMIF, pivot tables, etc.).
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in numerical work.
  • Familiarity with timekeeping and payroll systems is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet weekly deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in accounting, business administration, or a related field.
