This role is well suited to hands-on Site Supervisors who enjoy being on site daily, working alongside their crews, and take pride in the practical execution of construction work.

You are expected to:

  • Be on site every day
  • Work alongside your crew
  • Train and mentor apprentices and co-op students
  • Lead by example through presence and workmanship
Projects range in size, with a mix of:
  • New-build retail and gas stations
  • Institutional summer shutdown work (schools)
  • Active healthcare renovations
  • Clinics (dental, dermatology, medical offices)
Project work in hospitals and schools require professionalism, patience, and safety discipline as much as productivity.

You will typically manage 1–2 active sites at a time, occasionally more during peak institutional seasons. Standard work hours are 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, averaging 44 hours weekly, with Fridays often finishing by lunch. Weekend work occurs when required to meet deadlines and is shared across the team. This company values steady leadership over ego.

Mandatory Requirements (Non‑Negotiable)
  • 25+ years old (insurance requirement)
  • Clean driving record
  • Able to pass background checks (schools & hospitals)
  • COVID-19 vaccinated (hospital policy)
  • Supervisor training certification
  • First Aid / CPR‑C / AED
  • ICI experience required
Preferred
  • Carpentry license
  • Experience mentoring apprentices or co-op students
