Our client is looking for an independent, reliable School Cafeteria Manager to run the lunch program at a French school in Quispamsis, NB. This is a vital role where you would be serving nutritious meals to students from primary through high school. They need someone who can start immediately.
What We Offer:
- $19.25 an hour
- Full-time, Permanent
- Monday – Friday
- 8am – 2pm/3pm
- Immediate Start
What You'll Do:
- Prepare, cook, and serve daily lunch for ~100 students
- Follow recipe guides, schedules, and food safety expectations
- Ensure food preparation areas are clean and sanitized
- Monitor food stock and place orders as needed to ensure freshness
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations
- Work independently and efficiently
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in commercial kitchens or formal culinary training
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Comfortable preparing meals at scale
- Clean criminal record (must be eligible to work around children)
- Basic computer use for ordering and communication (training provided)
- Bilingualism is an asset, not a requirement
- WHMIS not required but considered an asset
