HR Generalist – Contract – Mat Leave
Our client is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support all human resources functions within a busy manufacturing environment. This role acts as the strategic “people partner” on‑site, working closely with plant leadership to drive engagement, support recruitment, ensure compliance, and champion a positive workplace culture.

What We Offer:
- Hourly Rate: $31.75-$41.50 based on experience and schedule.
- Flexible scheduling options – Preferred 5 days a week – Willing to consider 3 days (Mon/Thurs are mandatory)

What You’ll Do:
- Lead all talent acquisition activities, including coordination with local agencies and onboarding.
- Coach and support employees with guidance, feedback, and development.
- Review and approve weekly payroll timecards for timely, accurate processing.
- Administer and maintain HR programs, processes, and policies at the plant level.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, internal policies, and operational requirements.
- Partner with plant leadership to develop HR solutions supporting safety, productivity, and retention.
- Collaborate with internal COEs in compensation, payroll, benefits, and HR systems.
- Conduct workplace investigations and handle general office duties, including SAP invoice processing.
What We’re Looking For:
- BS/BA in HR, Industrial Psychology, Communications, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years’ HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven background in change management, engagement initiatives, and culture improvement.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills across all organizational levels.
- Proficiency with HR technologies such as WorkDay, SAP, iCIMS, UKG, or similar HRIS/ATS/timekeeping systems.
