Job Description
We’re seeking an Order Picker for a major client, with an immediate start in Edmonton and St. Albert!
What We Offer:
- $24/hour + 4% vacation pay added to your rate
- Monday to Friday
- Shift timing may vary but need coverage between 8am – 8pm
- Weekly pay, every Friday!
- Immediate start
- Free WHMIS training
What You’ll Do:
- Operate Order Picker lift trucks and other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
- Select, scan, and pick customer orders according to picking lists, ensuring accuracy and product quality.
- Use RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and confirm order completion.
- Perform high-level picking while wearing proper fall protection equipment in compliance with safety standards.
- Palletize, shrink wrap, and stage picked orders in designated shipping or staging areas.
- Conduct pre-operational inspections of equipment and report maintenance or safety issues immediately.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures, including fall arrest, PPE use, and safe lifting techniques.
- Maintain organized aisles, storage areas, and workstations to promote warehouse efficiency.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, restocking inventory, and performing general warehouse duties as assigned.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily performance and productivity targets.
- Complete required documentation accurately, including order verification and shipment records.
What We’re Looking For:
- Order Picker Certification – required.
- Fall Arrest Ticket – required.
- Minimum 1–2 years of warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights using safety harnesses.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards, inventory systems, and RF scanning technology.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and reliability in meeting deadlines.
